Welcome to Kathy's Korner!

Hello, everyone - and welcome to my little corner of the world.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Kathy, and I live in a suburb near Atlanta, Georgia. I am married, with two kids - both in High School. And much of the rest of my back story will be explained below. Enjoy!

I am glad that Summer is over. It has been a strange one indeed with my kids being out of school and NOT wanting to do anything or go anywhere much of the time. So, I started working again - part-time for a therapist practice, which is thankfully turning into a regular gig. And I also volunteer for a couple of nonprofit organizations working with the disadvantaged in our community. Now that my "stick in the mud" (jk) kids are back in school, I have a lot of time on my hands - but it's been great to have the house to myself.

I must say that, after having dealt with some very serious issues involving my immediate and extended families this year, I feel very blessed to be where I am at this stage of my life. I am very thankful to God for everything that I have been through along with where He has brought me up to this point. And I am excited to see what He does next.
