Monday morning yawns

Monday morning prompts me to look at the job postings on Craigslist. That's probably not a good thing. But...good to know what's out there.

And it's also just that some of us get into the swing more quickly than others. I've always been a bit slow on the wakeup call. A lot slow actually. I seem to have inherited inalterable night owl tendencies from my mom. Anyone out there have some good wake up tricks?
LAT WiR intro

Introducing the Lisa Anne Taggart Week in Review, reporting from the center of Silicon Valley, the South Bay.

I'm a writer, gardener, runner, new mom and very new to the blogging world. I worked for years in the print journalism world as a travel writer; I'm the author of a book on women in sports (titled "Women Who Win") and the co-editor of two humor anthologies.

But my new job, in higher education, and my new parent status has bumped the writing world seemingly far away. This, I hope, is soon to change.
